(Poem by Soumya)
I speak, but you don't hear,
My words fall on deaf ears,
You nod and smile, but it's clear, You're not listening, my dear.
You say you value my voice,
But actions speak louder than words,
Your choice is to ignore my noise,
Ignoring what your heart has heard.
I speak my heart, but you don't hear,
Our bond once strong, now disappears.
I pour my soul out, words fall flat,
We've lost our way, we can't go back.
You nod and smile, but don't engage,
Our connection fades with each passing stage.
I reach out to you, but hit a wall,
Our love once vibrant, now feels small.
We used to laugh and talk for hours,
Now silence fills the space between our powers.
I long for closeness, for understanding deep,
But you're not listening, our intimacy asleep.
Today we stand in this ironic place,
Lost in the void of unspoken grace.
I yearn for connection, for us to be free,
But you're not listening to me.
